March 19, 2020 - For qualifying Senior Citizens in need of assistance, the Bergen County Division of Senior Services is offering weekly delivery of frozen meals during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please call 201-336-7400 for more information.

3/24/20 - Most building inspections are currently suspended due to the pandemic.  Please click here to read the details from our Construction Official, Bob Rusch.

3/16/20 - Effective immediately, all Township-owned facilities, parks, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts and fields are closed to the public until further notice.
-River Vale Town Hall is closed to the public.  Please call or email the appropriate department and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you need to drop off paperwork, please leave it in the appropriate bin in the vestibule in front of Town Hall. Please put any payments in the lockbox on the door.  Both can also be mailed to 406 Rivervale Road, River Vale, NJ 07675.
- The River Vale Free Public Library is closed until further notice. Go to www.rivervalelibrary.org for more details.

3/13/20 - Beginning Monday, March 16, River Vale Town Hall will be closed to the general public.  Essential visits will be available by appointment only.  Please call Town Hall at 201-664-2346 to schedule.
-The River Vale Senior/Community Center is closed indefinitely.
- The River Vale Free Public Library will remain closed tentatively through Sunday, March 29.  Please check www.rivervalelibrary.org for updates.
- The River Vale Municipal Court is suspended for 2 weeks.  Those who were scheduled to appear between 3/16 and 3/27 should not appear and await notice of a new court date.
