There have been changes in airplane traffic patterns causing increased noise levels for the residents of River Vale and the Pascack Valley. This has been an issue for the entire region for some time. The Township is working with our neighboring towns to lobby the FAA to reroute the traffic pattern to lessen the noise impact. The FAA uses the route over our area when Teterboro Airport is faced with increased landing traffic. The Township has passed a resolution in support of rerouting air traffic and has delivered it to the FAA along with other towns' resolutions.
