Join Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission for Hidden in Plain Sight, a 60-minute live, virtual experience intended for parents and other adults caring for youth, including school professionals, coaches, nurses, physicians, and scout leaders. The event will take place Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM via Zoom. Participants are provided with the opportunity to explore a mock teen’s bedroom to explain various trends of teen substance use, signs, symptoms, and lingo in an effort to raise awareness about substance use disorders. JOINT PLANNING BOARD MEETING CANCELLATION NOTICE PLEASE BE ADVISED that in accordance with the provisions of P.L. 1975 Chapter 231 of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Joint Planning Board of the Township of River Vale is cancelling the Special Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to review the application of Incandescent Development, LLC, for 691 & 693 Rivervale Road, Block 813, Lots 17 & 18. The applicant has requested an adjournment due to scheduling conflicts with their expert witnesses. The application will be adjourned to a future date to be determined and adequate notice will be published.

PSEG Gas/Waters and Bugsbee will be continuing to work on Cedar Lane and will be working in multiple locations tomorrow, Wednesday, 4/17. This will cause a closure at Cedar Lane/Demarest Avenue to Cedar Lane East Liberty Avenue. An additional closure will be at Cedar Lane/Cleveland Avenue to Cedar Lane/Westwood Avenue. River Vale Police Officers will be present to conduct traffic control and assist residents who reside in the affected area in accessing their homes/businesses. Please follow the posted detours.
