The 2025 River Vale Town Wide Tag Sale will be held on Saturday, June 7 & Sunday, June 8!

River Vale residents can host a sale at home and earn cash for old treasures that have been taking up space for too long!  Remember one person’s junk is another’s treasure!

*Registration Form & Payment, DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, 5/30 (4:30pm), can be mailed or dropped off at Town Hall (406 Rivervale Rd, River Vale, NJ 07675). Payment can be made in the form of cash (exact change only) or check in the amount of $25 payable to "Township of River Vale". Registration Form can also be filled out online via Google Docs.

*Payment must be received to confirm participation. Receipt of this form and payment officially confirms your registration and license for a tag-sale at this address on June 7th and/or June 8th as per your application.

MARKETING

All Marketing will be done by Township of River Vale, via town wide email blasts, community newspaper, online garage sale directory, Township bulletin board at 4-corners, Facebook page, Instagram, Town App and Town website.

The participation fee went up this year to $25 (+$5/home) as we are now doing 2 dates and this extra will cover the cost of an ad in the Pascack Press the week before the sale to encourage more foot traffic.

Additional proceeds will go towards Helping Hand Food Pantry.

Participants: Can pick up a free balloon on June 7 from 8 - 9 am in front of Town Hall to identify their house to shoppers.

Shoppers: A map and a list of participants’ addresses with what is being sold will be available for pickup on June 7 from 8 - 9am in front of Town Hall and will be available online at www.rivervalenj.org

Signage: No signs for advertising or directing customers are to be posted on any place other than the premises of the applicant.

The sign is not to exceed 2’ by 2’ in size and cannot be placed on the premises earlier than one week prior to the sale and removed within 24 hours after the sale has terminated.
