"History of River Vale" Book Now Available
History of River Vale written by Dwight De Stefan, Robert Secor and Helen Whalen is available for $25 cash or check at Town Hall or the River Vale Public Library. You may order it ahead of time (PDF) to make sure they have a copy.

Funding has been made possible in part through grants funds administered by the  Bergen County Department of Parks,  Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs through a General Operating Support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a Division of Cultural Affairs in the Department of State. 

The Township of River Vale and the River Vale Free Public Library prepare to welcome the donation of artifacts from the USS Enterprise CV-6 which will form the core of the Library's Enterprise Collection. Please assist us by making a donation towards the creation of the collection which will include a museum case to display these valuable artifacts, as well as the memorabilia and documents from crewmen aboard the Big E.
