ANCHOR (Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners & Renters) Program - This replaced the NJ Homestead Benefit program in Sept. 2022. 

2021 ANCHOR Information Updated 9/10/24

The State of NJ will start distributing ANCHOR benefits this Fall, and continue on a rolling basis. Most applicants will receive their payment about 90 days after applying, unless additional information is needed to process the application. The 2021 New Jersey gross income limit is $250,000, and the filing deadline is November 30, 2024. Homeowners can use this form if they are unable to use the regular online ANCHOR application. There is an online version as well as a paper version.
