If you have a tree or trees that require removal that are within 10 feet of the curb, in the Township right-of-way, please fill out the online application or print it (PDF) and send it to the Public Works Department.

Applications will be processed for Township trees within 10 feet of the curb as per River Vale's ordinance. Homeowners should mark the tree with a ribbon or string. Please do not submit multiple Shade Tree requests for the same tree.

For the removal of trees on your property (more than 10 feet from the curb) please submit a Tree Removal Application to the Zoning Department.
