Not sure if you are eligible? We understand! Many regulations have changed over time, leading people to falsely believe that they are ineligible to donate. Here are some basics:
• You must be at least 16 years of age (ages 16 & 17 require a parental consent form)
• You must be in good health and feel well
• You must weigh at least 110 pounds
• You can donate every 56 days

In addition, if you are looking for other ways to make an impact, there are a few openings for donors to give “Power Red” which is donating a double supply of Red Blood Cells while hooked up to a machine that returns your plasma and platelets back to you. You can find out more about that on the Vitalant website, too.

On Thursday 1/30, there will be utility work at the intersection of Rivervale Road and Prospect Avenue. Rivervale Road will be closed from Lamanna Drive to Kennedy Court. Prospect Avenue will be closed at the intersection.
