Thank you to everyone who helped make the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra free concert on Sunday, July 21st a success!
The River Vale Social and Cultural Affairs Department did a fantastic job planning this new event and the Department of Public Works was essential in managing the logistics at the Upper Grove Field Complex.
There were about 50 talented musicians playing a selection of songs ranging from patriotic ballads, to Italian opera, to Broadway, to even the Superman theme. A large crowd gathered to enjoy the fine music along with refreshments provided by The Hen & The Hog and Clyde's Homemade Italian Ices & Ice Cream food trucks!
The day truly brought together families and the community - a successful event we hope to repeat soon!
