There is NO recycling pick up on Wednesday, October 30 this week. The next recycling pick up (glass, aluminum, plastic and tin only) will be on Wednesday, November 6. The River Vale Recycling Center is open for drop off on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. School is closed November 7 & 8 but Fitness with Friends and the Township of River Vale are here to help! Register for 1 or 2 days of sports, games, art and fun at the Mark Lane Sports Complex 9-12:30pm. Coach Joel will lead the kids in games like kickball, wiffle ball, flag football, soccer, gaga ball, relay races and more! Art hour will be provided as well for any child who is interested. Ages: K-5th grade separated by age (K-2 and 3-5 for age appropriate play) Thursday: Kickball Game and lunch is pizza from Angelo's Finest (from the RV Farmer's Market) Friday: Flag Football Game and lunch is sandwiches (ham and cheese or turkey and cheese) Coordinate with your child's friends for a day full of fun, games and activity! The River Vale Police Department's 3rd Annual "Touch A Truck" event will be held this Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Holdrum Middle School (393 Rivervale Road) from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. Make sure to wear your costume and bring a trick or treat bag! Hope to see everyone there!

Early Voting Begins this Saturday, October 26! Due to a water main break at Lower Grove field, River Vale Town Hall and the Public Library will have a delayed opening on Wednesday, October 16. We anticipate reopening Town Hall at 12pm, depending on when the water main is repaired. Please check with the River Vale Public Library for their hours of operation on Wednesday. Thank you.
